Last night I had a dream I was running from a jungle cat
All teeth and claws, I wasn't running that fast
She caught me, fed me to her cubs, I was eaten alive
I died in my dream
I didn't know that could happen
Last night I had a dream I was running from the cops
hiding in the trunk of a car
the interior's plush and my hands are caked in blood
they're talking about coloring my hair, I'm disappearing for a while
Gets more real every time
I hear the sirens through the trunk door
The first dream I can remember I was sitting on my tricycle
watching TV with my sister.
King Kong reaches in and he takes my sister
I turn and run when I see her taken through the window
I fled down the stairs.
To the basement where I wake up
I've never seen such darkness
